Because of the neighborhood's proximity to San Francisco and Richardson Bay, homes for sale are on the more expensive side. One of the most popular areas to live is the Eichler community, which was constructed in 1965 and features two-story floor plans.

Real estate in Strawberry is eclectic, ranging in style from Cape Cod to mid-century modern, and combines a variety of different property types, including single-family homes, condos, and apartments.  One of Marin's most desirable Eichler communities is located in Strawberry.  Built in 1965, these mid-century gems are larger than typical Eichlers, and several feature 2-story floor plans.
