Sitting on Point San Pedro, surrounded by the waters of San Pablo Bay is San Rafael's easternmost neighborhood, Peacock Gap.  Accessed by Point San Pedro Road, Peacock Gap is a gracious community with easy access to Highway 101 and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge while still maintaining a comfortable suburban feel.
