About Jonathan Jacobs
I was raised in upscale Saratoga, a quaint Silicon Valley town. I then lived in Southern California while I got my degree in Economics and Management at UC Irvine. I returned to the Bay Area in 1991, and have lived and worked in San Francisco and Marin ever since. My wife and I are currently raising our three young daughters in Corte Madera, and we love everything about it. Having been an active member of this community for so long, I have first-hand knowledge that enables my clients to make informed, intelligent decisions regarding real estate.
My background includes positions at Prudential Securities and First Interstate Bank. I am also a 12-year veteran of the marketing and advertising industry. I wrote and produced everything from magazine ads to TV commercials for some of the largest, most renowned advertising agencies such as Hal Riney and Partners, Ketchum Advertising and Grey Worldwide, to name a few. While at PeoplePC, I managed marketing campaigns with a multi-million dollar budget during the initial public offering and beyond, as a senior marketing manager.
Although, I really enjoyed what I was doing, real estate became my true passion. In 2002 my career as a real estate professional began in residential and commercial finance at Pacific Bay Financial in San Francisco. I later relocated my business to Marin with Pacific Mortgage Consultants.
Currently, I am a REALTOR® at Marin Modern Residential Real Estate. I call upon my extensive experience to help my clients succeed in their pursuit to buy that perfect home with a view, in the right school district, or to get their property sold for the highest price, as quickly as possible.

My inside knowledge of the mortgage industry enables me to provide both sound counsel, and access to an extensive network of the best resources, fulfilling the needs of my home buyers, sellers and investors.

Jonathan Jacobs Community Involvement
I am an active volunteer at my daughters’ schools, in addition to supporting many of the other Marin county public schools. I was also on the steering committee for the San Francisco School Volunteers.
