About Jessie Hammer
I was born and raised on the East Coast, but my love for California sprouted at a very early age. With yearly trips to the Bay Area to visit my extended family, I was in constant awe of the mountains, ocean and greenery. When choosing an area to start a family, Marin County was our top pick, specifically San Rafael. We fell in love with the Eichler style mid-century modern homes and community feel of Terra Linda. The neighborhood and easy access to nature trails have made it an incredible place to plant roots.
I have a diverse background in advertising and marketing production, and have worked at a variety of award-winning agencies over the past 10 years. I was involved in major brand campaigns from conception through completion, providing structure and support to the overall vision of each project (e.g. web development, advertising, media, strategy, technology, etc). I was responsible for overseeing and directing multiple assignments at once, ensuring they met or exceeded internal team and client expectations – and most importantly were delivered on-time and on-budget.
I also started a successful kiteboarding travel company in the northeast region of Brazil. As the Director of Operations, I made sure our US based-clients were set up with everything they needed for an unforgettable journey through 300 km of remote beaches. I was in charge of client relations, always seeking new ways to enhance the experience; ensuring our trips were unmatched as far as our unique offers and dedication to understanding and exceeding our client’s expectations with the adventures we sent them on.
Being a new mother, I decided to change my career path to bring me closer to home and connect on a more personal level with clients. Real estate is the perfect combination and I am now a licensed REALTOR working with Marin Modern Real Estate.

As the daughter of a contractor, I have lived through numerous renovations and have seen firsthand the importance of vision, which I believe is instrumental in assisting my clients in discovering their dream homes – possibly in places and ways they weren’t expecting. I am thrilled to join Marin Modern and draw on my client-facing experience along with my production background in connecting and listening to clients’ needs and wants when buying a home.
