Looking for something physical to do before you sit down to enjoy all of that Thanksgiving bounty? I saw recently in the local paper that there’s an organised mountain bike ride from Fairfax on Thanksgiving morning. They call it “The Appetite Seminar.” (Click to follow link.) It sounds like a great idea, to do the exercise before all that overeating and drinking. However, despite the good intentions, my bike and I will probably not be there. If, like me, you’d like to start with something simpler or less intimidating, then consider a Thanksgiving Day Family Hike.
