25 Canyon San Anselmo sold by Ary Assadi

So excited to get my clients into this beautiful 3BD/2.5BA home at just under 2,100 SF. Built in 1996 this home is absolutely turn-key. The inspections came back with absolutely no issues and the home is located in the most serene woodsy setting in the hills of San Anselmo. We initially began our search for homes in the East Bay, but quickly realized that there were betty deals to have had in Marin. Taking advantage of the slight summertime lull in the market we quickly snatched up this home for $1,200,000. I couldn't be more overjoyed for my clients who now have their new home and enough space to welcome their second child in a couple of months!   Ary Assadi

Opportunity knocks to restore and update this charming 1930's Spanish Bungalow.  It is surrounded on all sides by beautiful homes of the same vintage and character.  The main home is 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with an interior courtyard that leads to a separate studio/office/bedroom with bathroom.  Many period details including charming courtyard between house, studio and garage, Spanish tile roof, rounded archways between rooms, high open beam ceiling in living room, hardwood floors, steel cased windows....loads of charm, just waiting for the right buyer.

Finding a home in San Anselmo in a very competitive Marin real estate market has been a supreme challenge and year-long search for Greg and Jenn that started before they were expecting their first child.  With a little luck, patience, a positive attitude and the willingness to stretch they purchased a home they both love in the Morningside neighborhood of San Anselmo, just one month before their daughter is due. It's a home they can grow into over the next 10-12 years.  There were 9 offers and they had the winning offer at  $890,000. Their new home has loads of charm with period details, 3 beds/2 baths, a bonus playroom or office, big open kitchen, formal dining room, backyard for kids and dogs and a big garage for storage.

San Anselmo Art Deco Charmer.  This home features 2 beds/1 bath with a brand new kitchen, stainless appliances, subway tile, butcher block counters, and a view to the beautifully landscaped garden and flagstone patio.

A rounded archway between the living room and dining room adds character along with the old fashioned front porch, refinished hardwood floors, high-end wood dual paned windows and fireplace.  Updated bathroom features a double sink and plenty of counter and cupboard space.

The full basement offers so much potential with storage space galore.  There's a bonus room that is ideal for a playroom, office or guest room plus plenty of room for a workshop and a one-car garage.  The driveway can easily accommodate 3 cars.

If you're a procrastinator and have waited until the last minute to buy Mom a gift. don't despair.  While biking down Tunstead in San Anselmo early this morning I was reminded of a "hidden" gem, Rockflowerpaper in San Anselmo.  Yes, I know....what the heck does a store with a name like that sell!  All I can say is that it sells lots of beautiful things that Mom will love at Outlet prices. Sure enough when I returned to Rockflowerpaper later today armed with my wallet and ready to buy a couple of gifts, a nice guy with his unruly 1 year old Golden Retriever walked in asking for help with a Mother's Day gift.

I just sold this amazing mid-century modern ranch home located at 1170 Butterfield Road in San Anselmo's Sleepy Hollow Neighborhood which sold for $2,200,000.

This gated 6 bed/4 bath home is all on one level, has beautifully manicured landscaping on an acre of property, a large pool, a barn, and a separate in-law quarters. This was a wonderful find for my buyer clients and they are looking forward to calling this modern oasis home.

Drop me a line if I can assist you with the purchase or sale of a San Anselmo home or other real estate in Marin County.
