As the market changes are contingent offers back? I just completed two transactions that involved 3 parties,3 buyers and 3 sales. Two buyers had to sell their current homes to purchase their new home. A year ago this transaction would most likely not have been possible but we seem to be in a changing market. Not necessarily from a sellers market to a buyers market but definitely moving away from the strong sellers market, with crazy low inventory, that we have been experiencing the past several years. We are in a more balanced market.

I helped my clients purchase their home 4 years when they had a new baby. Now expecting their second child and with a parent living with them as a childcare giver, they are busting out of their 1241 square foot home.

I recently received a call from a young couple who was relocating their family to the Bay Area from Los Angeles due to a job transfer. They were under a time crunch because they were in the process of selling their current home and needed to make a contingent offer on a new home. After spending just two weekends in the car with in order to familiarize themselves with the various Marin neighborhoods, I had a pretty good idea of what they were looking and they had decided on a couple of areas that would be suitable both for their children's school but also for the daily commute to work.

It didn't take long for us to find this gorgeous 4BD/3BA, two story home with over 2500 square feet. We succeeded in having our offer accepted at the asking price

I had the pleasure of representing the buyer on the purchase of a “view home” in the Marin Country Club Neighborhood in Novato. Situated at the top of a long, private driveway, 66 Capilano Drive, has panoramic views of the golf course and surrounding hills. The kitchen features a floor to ceiling greenhouse window and the living room has sliding glass doors along the one wall opening to the view. Built in the late 1970’s, this home has a great floor plan and features 2 beds, 2 baths, a big open loft ideal for an office.  There are decks off each room.

I also want to give a shout-out to the listing agent who is a seasoned professional and was a pleasure to work with. Working  together, we were able to create a win-win for both buyer and seller.

I had the pleasure of representing the sellers, who have been long-time business owners in San Rafael. At the end of December, they decided to embark on a new phase in their life and in January made a trip to Southern Oregon where they found the perfect home. Everything happened more quickly than they expected.

Fortunately, their 4 bed/2.5 bath home in the rural Black Point neighborhood of Novato was in beautiful showing condition and ready to go on the market. Timing is everything. My clients were ahead of the spring market when there was every little inventory and the buyers, a young family, were decisive and ready to go. It worked out beautifully for everyone.

If you are ready to retire and thinking about relocating to Southern Oregon or

As I sell real estate throughout Marin County, I often come across a buyer that is reluctant to take a look into Novato. Not because of the commute but usually because they have some notion that it isn’t much of a town. Since I live in Novato and specialize in the area, I feel inclined to share with you what makes this once bustling town that became a super sleepy town, but now on the rise… great place to live and raise a family. I also want to share the details of the immense change that has occurred over the years and what the future seems to hold for this great community. With that said, I share with you a brief history of Novato starting with the early development back in 1856 when Joseph Sweetser and Francis DeLong purchased a Mexican land grant

6 Plaza Loma Novato, CA 94947 - Sold with Grace!

I am not easily excitable but I do feel things very deeply and intensely. I know...seems like opposing traits. I emote from the inside vs the outside which is best displayed when I watch The Ellen Show. Yes, I watch Ellen! Why? Because her show evokes emotions from me and everyone around her.  When she helps someone in true need or makes a dream come true it reaches into my soul and I can feel what they are feeling. But...if I went on her show I don't think I would jump and up down and scream like every single other person. There is very little that draws that kind of reaction from me so I guess I can be moved to laugh or cry but not to bounce and scream. Someday when I make it to The Ellen Show
