This lovely, three-bedroom, two-bath home tucked into the President's neighborhood of Novato received 12 offers and sold for $650,000. The sellers, who I represented, are thrilled as are the buyers. The home has lovely curb-appeal, dual-pane windows, hardwood floors, an inviting swimming pool and an expansivie side-yard.

The President's neighborhood is identified as such because many of the streets are named after U.S. Presidents. It is an area nestled between Indian Valley Road, Rowland and South Novato Blvd. The neighborhood schools are Rancho Elementary School and Novato High School. Shopping, transporation and Arroyo Avichi Park are all close.

If you are thinking about moving to Novato or want

Olompali State Historic Park

It is embarrassing. After living in the lovely City of Novato for many, many years my family and I finally took the time to visit a Novato treasure - Olompali Park. What encouraged me to get in my car and drive the seven minutes is the new, safer entrance from Redwood Blvd. instead of the hair-raising turn-off from Hwy 101.

The 700-acre park is an interpretive and educational center that accommodates all visitors. We had our 3-month-old in a stroller and maneuvered quite well; many paths are flat. There are hiking and horseback riding trails, shaded picnic tables and a Miwok Village. For the serious hiker, you can climb Mount Burdell, about an eight-mile round trip.

Sold for more than asking- this single-story,2-bedroom PUD that is tucked away in the Roundtree complex. One of the few units with nice-sized rooms, a fireplace and secluded patio - just right for morning coffee - a real find. And it is located in the Dixie School District, close to Hwy 101, shopping and transportation.

Our pets are family; we cherish them and try to keep them safe.

When my beloved 15-year-old cat, Blanche, disappeared I was devastated. At first I didn't know what to do. After checking all of the hiding places in the house and asking neighbors, I went to the Marin Humane Society - a Marin County treasure. The staff was so helpful and understanding and said that visiting the shelter and utilizing its resources would increase my chances of finding her.                                                                                                                                                                        black_cat_93

At the front counter a staff person helped me fill out a lost report and insert it into the specific binder for Lost cats. It is
