Selling Marin Real Estate

Now that I have had Pat Kuleto's listing on the market for a couple of weeks, I wanted to share with you the incredible amount of exposure that has been generated for my client's property, as well as a glimpse of how I was able to do it. This underscores the importance of working with a Realtor who is skilled in the latest marketing technology.

The effort began before the property went onto the market. I was active on the social media front, letting folks know it was coming. I blogged about it, and I contacted my friends, family and clients to tell them about the property. As soon as the listing hit the market, my team got one of the online media sites to write a story on the listing. From there, it went "viral" as other outlets picked it up and reported on it. Ultimately CBS 5 KPIX wanted to put it on the news. You might assume that this required a bucket of money, though that was not the case. However, it did take a lot of savvy, online marketing and some sweat equity. Sure it helped to be able to use my client's name, which is fairly recognizable in my community. But, the point is that I took what was available for me to use and leveraged it as much as I could by taking advantage of the cutting edge, online tools and techniques that a lot of agents don't utilize. The result is that many people have come to my listing in person, which gives me a better chance of selling it. After you read this blog post, try going to Google and searching for "2350 Marinship Way #3" or "Pat Kuleto's floating home" to see how many hooks I have in the water.
