Michelle Kaufmann Event in Marin... by Renee Adelmann

We are less than one week away from our seminar entitled "Building a Modernist and Eco-Friendly Prefab Home in Marin County" featuring keynote speakers from Michelle Kaufmann Designs, JCF Advisors, and Marin Modern Real Estate.

Since intially advertising this event to our modern-minded and green-minded client and friends, we've been overwhelmed with positive response and feedback.    Registration for this Marin Modern sponsored event was brisk and we 'sold out' quickly, filling up every availabe seat at our venue.

While there are no seats available for our November workshop with Michelle Kaufmann Designs / MKD Architecture, we would welcome the opportunity to assist you one-on-one with your San Francisco real estate or Marin...

Marin County Preschool Fair

On Thursday, October 23rd,  the Marin Child Care Council will be sponsoring a preschool fair from 7:00-8:30pm which will enable attendees to explore their preschool options in Marin County.  More than 40 participating...

Japan loves Mid-Century Modern H... by Renee Adelmann

I was excited to participate in a recent interview with ENGINE Magazine, a high-end Japanese publication (published monthly in Japan) which caters primarily to a men's audience interested in fashion, style, automobiles, and more.    As a point of reference, the magazine is reminiscent of GQ or Esquire magazine in the United States. Engine Magazine:  Eichler Homes & More The October 2008 issue of ENGINE Magazine featured an article on mid-century modern homes in the United States.    The article discussed the availability (and relative affordability) of these home throughout the United States, with a particular focus on modernist homes in California.    Of particular interest to the publication was the wide availability of...
