Oktoberfest is coming to Marin

October is by far my favorite month; leaves start to change, weather gets a bit cooler, pumpkins and of course, Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest is a 16 day beer festival that is held annually in Munich, Germany but there are local celebrations all over the world.

This year, Marin towns will hold their own version of Oktoberfest featuring beer tastings, local cuisine, music and fun for the whole family:

Corte Madera

Town Square
Sunday October 13 from 12pm-5pm
Tasting admission is $20, which includes a commemorative glass mug General admission without tasting is $5

Celebrating in the tradition of Munich, Bavaria's famed festival, Tam Valley's colorful, Oktoberfest celebration is a community event which will include music by Deutscher Musikverein of San Francisco, dancing and mouth-watering, savory, German food and beer. Wear your lederhosen and join in this family fun event.
