Marin County Exclusives by Lisa Mallon

Working as a Buyer's Agent for Marin Modern, I spend a good deal of time with relocating clients who are unfamilair with Marin County.  I provide a customized "Lay of the Land" tour for each depending upon their needs and this comes with a mix of looking at properties for sale throughout Marin in different price ranges as well as driving neighborhoods and discussing schools, community features and outdoor activities.  My tour is never complete until I've introduced the Marin County Farmer's Market and discussed the sheer number of vendors and the bounty of our local organic scene.  I believe it is truly a community amenity that no other place on earth offers with regard to size, scope and sensory stimulation.

Marinites have known for...

Tam Valley, Mill Valley - Should... by Erika Davito

Many homebuyers seek to move to Mill Valley for the family friendly community, highly rated public schools, low crime and great commute location to San Francisco. Mill Valley has a small town feel with over 25 neighborhoods.  So why would buyers discriminate buying a home from neighborhood to neighborhood? Could they be splitting hairs? It’s Mill Valley!! What more could you want in a place to call home.

It’s expensive enough to get into the real estate market in Mill Valley, why would anyone discriminate between neighborhoods? Buyers discriminate for various reasons when looking for a home; status, vibe in the neighborhood, micro-climate, access to amenities and commute. Should they really be so picky? I can see why someone would...

Marin International Travel Club ... by Renee Adelmann

Many of our clients and friends in Marin County travel extensively for both work and play so I wanted to make our readers aware of a new, not-for-profit travel social club that is just getting started in Marin County.

International Travel Club (ITC) Marin

The purpose of the Marin International Travel Club is to share travel experiences, learn about special travel opportunities and meet on a quarterly basis with professional travel speakers.     The ITC-Marin is not a travel agency and there is no fee involved to become a member.

Similar travel clubs have been extremely popular in other areas of the country and now Marin residents have an opportunity to join the newly formed Marin ITC!    The group will be hosting an informal get...
