A good thing just keeps getting better -- in San Rafael at least. The Marin Civic Center is about to undergo renovation and first on the agenda is a revamped Farmers Market. Currently located in a parking lot, this popular event will find a permanent home in a new structure designed to accommodate vendors both indoors and out, offering protection from the elements, but retaining the current fun, carnival-like atmosphere. The vision includes expanding the Farmers Market to three days a week, creating space for a small restaurant, and including a wider variety of vendors.

Renee Adelmann of Marin Modern Real Estate has been designated as a preferred San Francisco agent by the Eichler Network. This is the second time Renee has received such distinction. Children Now, a bipartisan, nationally recognized children's advocacy group, just released its newest report on the health and education status of California's children. Not surprisingly, Marin County ranks #1 overall, maintaining the distinction of being 'tops' when it comes to the overall health and well being of Marin families and children.
