Marin County Exclusives
Posted by Lisa Mallon on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at 6:45am.Working as a Buyer's Agent for Marin Modern, I spend a good deal of time with relocating clients who are unfamilair with Marin County. I provide a customized "Lay of the Land" tour for each depending upon their needs and this comes with a mix of looking at properties for sale throughout Marin in different price ranges as well as driving neighborhoods and discussing schools, community features and outdoor activities. My tour is never complete until I've introduced the Marin County Farmer's Market and discussed the sheer number of vendors and the bounty of our local organic scene. I believe it is truly a community amenity that no other place on earth offers with regard to size, scope and sensory stimulation.
Marinites have known for years that our own county continues to lead in the deeply connected worlds of organic, sustainable and green living. And, I'm finding that out of town buyers have either heard of our farmer's market or are keenly interested in learning more about it. It has become an integral part of my "Lay of the Land Tour" with clients as we drive through Marin County and discuss the many activities that are either unique to our community or the world class outdoor activities that Marin is known for.
I recently had the unusual experieince of being asked by Canadian clients to stop on a recent Sunday at the Marin County Farmer's Market so they could see for themselves the extent of our local, organic and sustainable food scene. Twenty minutes and a few strawberry flats later, they were sold on Marin. This is noteworthy to mention since these clients had spent a day in the east bay looking at the communities of Danville, Alamo and San Ramon.
I offer a fresh, customized and most importantly, a well informed approach to buyers who are considering relocating and purchasing a home in Marin County. I am quite knowledgable about Marin County schools, outdoor activities, open space hiking and biking trails and just about "all things Marin". I would welcome an opportunity to share my knowledge and my residential sales experience with you. I can be reached at (415) 601-7281 and I look forward to speaking with you.
