Climate in Marin County California

Relocating to Marin County California is a great option if you like warm summers, beautiful fall colors, mild winter weather and glorious spring blossoms.

Magnificent Marin County California is just across the Golden Gate Bridge, and minutes from downtown San Francisco. Surrounded on three sides by water, Marin is an area of unsurpassed natural beauty and seems like another world outside of bustling city life of San Francisco, Marin boasts open space, redwood forests, gorgeous beaches, charming small towns and mild weather year round.

My friends and clients (myself included) are all grateful to live in Marin County! Marin is one of the most sought after residential areas in the world.  Marin's communities offer a special and unique appeal, charm and lifestyle that individuals and families are looking to experience.

Marin County is one of the most popular and progressive counties in California and is known throughout the nation for its scenic splendor, pristine and rugged beauty, and Mediterranean-like climate. People that are new to this area are amazed by the temperate and mild weather. Marin County's natural environment is breathtaking and it makes a perfect setting for all Marin real estate.

Outdoor activities include hiking, running, mountain biking, horseback riding, and all manner of water sports including sailing, surfing, fishing, kayaking and canoeing - this is what Marin County outdoor enthusiast are all about! Marin County is in very close proximity to some very notable National Parks, including, Muir Woods and Point Reyes National Seashore.  Local attractions include Mt. Tamalpais, China Camp, and Angel Island Golden Gate National Recreation Area.  Beaches are easily accessed via Interstate 1 to Stinson Beach and Muir Beach.

Marin also boasts world class dining from the southern waterside town of Sausalito extending north to the charming, tree-surrounded city of Novato.  All areas of Marin are easily accessible via Highway 101, with low traffic volumes compared to most other areas of the San Francisco Bay. Commuting around Marin is not difficult, and public transportation is also easily accessible and very reliable.
