Bicycling across the Golden Gate Bridge is a rite of passage for many San Francisco Bay Area residents who enjoy cycling. While casually riding along the shoulder of the bridge can be a relaxing and scenic endeavor, bicyclists in the Bay Area will have an opportunity to pedal across the center of the bridge typically reserved for automobiles with biking legend Lance Armstrong.
