Recently, I have had several clients interested in purchasing Bel Marin Keys real estate in Novato, CA. This is a hidden away part of Marin County that not everyone knows about. And it's some of the most affordable waterfront property in Marin!

Home sales in this neighborhood range from $500,000 to $1,000,000 or more depending on size, waterfront, upgrades, etc. Many of these homes have deep water docks. With the palm trees, docks in many backyards, and the warm sunny weather, it is a mini vacation every day...a little 'Florida in Marin'. And yet, the commute to San Francisco or to other parts of Marin is just a quick drive out to 101. No windy roads or hills. And people who live here speak highly of their neighbors and the community alongside the beauty of living in such a beautiful place. Bel Marin Keys residents also have several ways to get involved in the local community through the various Clubs. One Bel Marin Keys group is dedicated to caring for 30 homes in the Gardens. The HOA is responsible for the stewardship of these gardens. There is a Bel Marin Keys Men's Club and also a Women's Club. These Clubs are both social and service-oriented.

And of course the community would not be complete without the Bel Marin Keys Yacht Club. The club includes a Cruiser Fleet, Sail Fleet and Small Boat Fleet. Boat ownership is not required to join. And the membership allows one access to 100 other yacht clubs in Northern California. They host a Fourth of July event, Christmas boat parade, annual game night and various BBQs and other events. Yachts can't be over 60 feet in length or 18 feet wide to get through the locks safely. The lagoon surrounding these homes allows for many water sports like sailing, fishing, waterskiing, canoeing, paddle-boating and kayaking.

Schools in the Bel Marin Keys neighborhood include Loma Verde Elementary School, Novato Charter School, Good Shepherd Lutheran, Hamilton Meadow Park School, Lynwood Elementary School, San Jose Middle School, Novato High School, and more. In the nearby Hamilton area there are popular coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store and more. There are also several commercial buildings with all sorts of Marin-based businesses.
